Nurture is a plant care reminder app made by one person. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, writing to me is the fastest way to get it looked at.
The quickest way is from inside the app: Settings → Send feedback. If something has just gone wrong, the error message offers Report this, which sends the error along with your note. Add your email if you would like a reply.

This is the most common problem, and it is almost always the operating system rather than the app. Two things to check:
Nurture keeps everything on your device, which means an uninstall takes it with it. Settings has Create backup, which writes a single file containing every plant, schedule, photo, and history entry. Keep that file somewhere you trust and Restore from backup will bring it all back on a new phone.
Your plants are never stored with an account, even if you sign in, so there is nothing for me to recover on your behalf. The backup file is the only copy.
